Susan C. Puryear is the assistant vice chancellor for research administration, development, and support services at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She was previously executive director and director for the Office of Research Administration at UMass Lowell and director of sponsored programs and research at Clark University. Puryear received her EdM in administration, planning, and social policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her JD from Stanford University.
