Thomas Sae Young Ahn is professor of manpower and economics in the Department of Defense Management at the Naval Postgraduate School. He was previously an assistant professor of economics at the University of Kentucky; a first lieutenant–professor of economics with the Republic of Korea Army; and a research associate at the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke University. Ahn received his PhD in economics from Duke University.
