Todd J. Greenspan is the executive advisor for academic planning and policy development at the University of California Office of the President (UCOP). In this role, he represents the university in studies conducted by organizations such as the California Citizens Commission for Higher Education, the California Governance Consensus Project, the California Constitutional Revision Commission, and the RAND project on higher education commissioned by the California Education Round Table. He also serves as the university liaison to the California Postsecondary Education Commission. Greenspan began his career in educational policy with Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE), working on the Oakland Schools’ Strategic Planning Project and a study of the California teacher shortage. He earned his MPP from the University of California, Berkeley.
