William S. Furry served as deputy secretary in the Office of Child Development and Education in the Office of the Governor for the State of California under former Governor Pete Wilson. In this role, he was involved in shaping and implementing education policies at the state level. Prior to his tenure in the governor’s administration, Furry held positions in the California State Assembly. He also worked as a policy researcher and analyst at the RAND Corporation, focusing on education policy and strategic advocacy. Furry earned his graduate degree from Stanford University.
