On behalf of the State Board of Education, and in collaboration with the California Department of Education, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is pleased to announce the official launch of the California Digital Learning Integration and Standards Guidance (CDLISG) website. The Guidance and supporting materials can be found at http://www.cadlsg.com.
Development of the Guidance was an involved and extensive process that engaged dozens of researchers, writers, and education consultants. We especially appreciate the input of the CDLISG Advisory Committee, whose contributions were significant and helped ensure the project stayed focused and on track.
The Guidance provides a solid foundation for all educators as they work to incorporate innovative and transformative technology into their standards-aligned instructional programs. Key areas addressed include:
- Research-based digital learning practices
- Formative, summative, interim, and diagnostic assessments
- Social emotional supports for students
- Critical areas of instructional focus in English language arts, English language development, and mathematics
On the website, you will find the Guidance available as a downloadable PDF and via searchable HTML. To support implementation, SCOE and their partners have developed a series of six overview and introductory videos featuring key writers and teachers from throughout California. Also available on the website are links to three separate webinars focused on key topic areas.
