Anne Gregory is a professor with the Department of School Psychology in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She was formerly an assistant professor clinical and school psychology with the Curry Programs at the University of Virginia. Gregory advances research in the area of racial and gender disparities in school discipline, and is currently examining school-wide restorative practices and equity-oriented social-emotional learning. She has been part of the Research-to-Practice Collaborative on Discipline Disparities, comprised of a national panel of researchers, educators, and policy analysts advocating for change in the gender and race disparities in discipline. Through program development and evaluation, she aims to improve educational settings and to reduce differential access to supportive school environments. Gregory received her EdM from Harvard University and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a licensed clinical psychologist.
