Christina Clark Tuttle is a principal researcher at Mathematica Policy Research. She specializes in evaluating charter schools and school choice initiatives. She has also served as deputy project director of the national evaluation of Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP) middle schools and as project director of a study assessing KIPP’s impact on student outcomes at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. She was the charter school topic area expert for the national evaluation of Race to the Top and School Improvement Grants and was deputy project director of a nationwide random assignment evaluation of charter schools. She has been a deputy principal investigator for the What Works Clearinghouse and reviews studies for the 10 regional educational laboratories. Her work has been published in the Economics of Education Review. Tuttle received her MPP in education and family policy from Georgetown University.
