Daniel Douglas
Daniel Douglas is an assistant professor of sociology in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Montclair State University. He was previously a senior researcher with the Education and Employment Research Center at Rutgers University; a lecturer in sociology and director of social science research at Trinity College–Hartford; adjunct faculty at Adelphi University; a visiting adjunct professor at St. John’s University; a research fellow with the Graduate Center at City College of New York (CUNY); and a project manager for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s MOMENTUM project at CUNY. He has also been a teacher/tutor with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. His research focuses on college access and success, mathematics education, and the transition from college into the labor force, and he teaches courses education and research methodology. Douglas received his PhD in sociology from City University of New York.
