Daniel Douglas
Daniel Douglas is an assistant professor of sociology in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Montclair State University (MSU). Dr. Douglas was previously a senior researcher with the Education and Employment Research Center (EERC) at Rutgers University. He was formerly a lecturer in sociology and director of social science research at Trinity College–Hartford. He has been adjunct faculty at Adelphi University and a visiting adjunct professor at St. John’s University; a research fellow with the Graduate Center at City College of New York (CUNY) and a former project manager for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s MOMENTUM project at CUNY. He was also a teacher/tutor with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. His research focuses on college access and success, mathematics education, and the transition from college into the labor force. He teaches courses education and research methodology. Dr. Douglas holds a PhD in sociology from City University of New York along with an MA and BA in sociology jointly from St. John’s University.
