Davis Vo is a doctoral candidate and education researcher in the School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is also an MS student in the UCLA Department of Statistics and Data Science. He currently works as a senior research analyst with Orange Coast College and has been adjunct faculty and a student success coach (Pathways) with Pasadena City College. Vo is primarily interested in using mixed methods to better understand issues of equity as they relate to the academic and labor market experiences of community college students, particularly of those from communities that are historically minority. He spent over 10 years in advising, teaching, and academic/institutional research roles across California’s education system both in the nonprofit sector and in K–12, community college, and public/private university systems. Vo received his MA in statistics and data science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
