Florence R. Webb is a former commissioner for the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS-WASC), where she set accreditation policies, developed new protocols, and led site evaluations for schools across the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific. She has over 25 years of experience in education policy, governance, and program evaluation, including leadership roles with the California School Boards Association and the Marin County School Boards Association. Webb was previously a governing board member and vice president of the board of trustees for the Dixie School District and director of the Teacher and Reading Development Program at the College of Marin. She has contributed to policy research and institutional development through roles at the Association of California School Administrators and has authored publications on program assessment, district governance, and school leadership. Webb earned an MA and a PhD in educational administration and policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in English from Alaska Pacific University.
