Jennifer Ahn

Jennifer Ahn is executive director of Lead by Learning, a professional learning center at Northeastern University in Oakland, where she oversees organizational strategy, development, and programs serving more than 600 educators annually. Her work focuses on supporting school and district change through adult learning, with particular attention to addressing educational inequities and centering the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and other educators and students of color. She develops professional learning frameworks and programs that build trust, belonging, and educators’ capacity to improve practice. Her work has appeared in The Learning Professional and publications of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, and has been featured by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. She previously served as director of network partnerships and program associate at Mills Teacher Scholars. She began her career as an English teacher at Hayward High School and later taught English and served as a college admissions advisor at Alameda Science and Technology Institute. Ahn received her BA in English and MA in education from the University of California, Berkeley.
