Leib Sutcher is a high school advisor at Highline Big Picture School in Burien, Washington. Dr. Stutcher was previously a math teacher at the STEM Academy of Hollywood in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He was formerly a research associate with the Learning Policy Institute (LPI), where his work focuses on the teacher labor market, including recruitment and retention, the inequitable distribution of unqualified and inexperienced educators, and teacher shortages. Dr. Sutcher holds an MEd in teaching and secondary mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BA in economics from Wesleyan University. He has also been a visiting student with the Institute of Education at University College London.
