Priyanka Kaura is the K–12 education policy director at Children First, where she leads a team of advocates focused on public education funding and other statewide policy priorities. She was previously a senior research and policy analyst at The Trust—New York, conducting policy research to advance opportunities for students from low-income backgrounds and students of color. Kaura has also worked as a senior program associate in research and evaluation at Pivot Learning (now UnboundEd), where she analyzed instructional material quality for English learners and district curriculum adoption decisions. Her research experience includes roles with The Education Trust—West, Harvard Kennedy School, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Kaura earned her MA in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and an MPP from Harvard University.
