Sophie Zamarripa

Sophie Zamarripa is a senior policy analyst in the policy and evaluation practice area at Bellwether. Her professional interests span education research and policy, data analysis, consulting, and classroom engagement. She has served as a senior consultant at ILO Group, where she supported the advancement of women and people of color in educational leadership, and where she provided technical assistance to school districts nationwide. She has also worked on issues from early childhood through higher education as a senior associate at the Rennie Center for Education Research and Policy; as a consultant at District Management Group, she partnered with districts to improve special education, social-emotional and behavioral supports, and intervention practices. She began her career as a kindergarten teacher assistant and a graduate student fellow at The Education Trust–Midwest. Zamarripa received her MA in educational leadership and policy from the University of Michigan.
