Sujie Shin

Sujie Shin is the deputy executive director for the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence, overseeing agency operations, spearheading specific statewide initiatives, and helping to lead direct technical assistance efforts. She also directs research and evaluation initiatives centered around the implementation of systemic practices within districts and schools aimed at equitable access, opportunity, and outcomes for students. Shin previously served as codirector of research for the Standards, Assessment, and Accountability Services program at WestEd, where she managed the National Center on Standards and Assessment Implementation, and was deputy chief of assessment and accountability for Washington, DC, public schools. She received her MA in policy research, evaluation, and measurement from the University of Pennsylvania.
