Top UC officials support dropping SAT and ACT

On Friday, several leading University of California officials recommended dropping the SAT and ACT as an admissions requirement. UC Berkeley Chancellor Carol T. Christ, UC Santa Cruz Chancellor Cynthia K. Larive and UC Provost Michael Brown voiced their support for scrapping the tests at a forum on college admissions in Berkeley.
