Associate Professor, Graduate School of Education,
Stanford University

Ben Domingue is an associate professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and a faculty director at PACE. Domingue's research interests include psychometrics and quantitative methods, with a particular interest in how statistical tools can be used to better understand psychological and educational questions (for example, a child's reading ability) that are challenging to measure and yet ubiquitous in both education and the social and biomedical sciences more generally. He is leading development of a data resource, the Item Response Warehouse, that will increase the availability and accessibility of data for psychometrics research. When not analyzing item response data, Domingue explores the social science implications of our increasing capacity to measure human DNA, with a focus on how this new data may change our understanding of human behavior. Domingue received his PhD in education from the University of Colorado Boulder.
