Danielle Gomez is the education and policy research associate with Policy Analysis for California Education at Stanford University. Before joining PACE, she was the research and outreach director as well as host of the READ (Research Education Advocacy) Podcast at The Windward Institute. In these roles, she led efforts to connect research with educational practice and to advance equity—through professional learning in schools, partnerships with researchers and academic institutions, and outreach to community organizations. As the creator and host of the READ Podcast, she has led conversations with leading researchers and practitioners to bridge the gap between science and education, exploring innovative and evidence-based insights for diverse stakeholders around the world. Her work is grounded in a mission for social justice in education, with a focus on increasing access to literacy and supportive learning environments for all students. She previously taught middle school students in language arts, social studies, and math and specifically taught students with language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Gomez earned her EdD in education from Johns Hopkins University.
